If you’re planning a dinner of white pizza or pasta with an alfredo sauce, consider pairing your meal with an Italian white wine. Although pinot grigio might be the first wine to come to mind, the country is home to many other delicious whites. The following are two that might be unfamiliar to you: turbiana, a relative of the better known verdicchio grape, and vermentino, which can often taste like sauvignon blanc.
