Tiguan MK3, New Q8/SQ8, and A V10 E46 M3

Volkswagen has officially unveiled the third generation of Tiguan. Expected to arrive in the US sometime in 2024, there is a lot to be seen here. On the outside the overall size and shape is roughly the same, just a little bit bigger. The LED headlights have a sleek slimmed down look with a lightbar reminiscent of the GTI and Golf R. A big lower grille adorns the front facia as well, with a more aggressive version on the R-Line model. The rear sports a spoiler as standard, as well as a full-width lightbar across the tailgate. Inside you will notice a big change regarding the steering controls. Gone are the days of touch sensitive only interface, as buttons make their triumphant return.

VW has also backlit the climate and volume controls on the 15 inch infotainment system, a point of contention for plenty of mk8 Golf users. There is also a rotary dial that sits in the center console that gives off vibes of BMW’s i-drive system, but sadly doesn’t control the infotainment system as much. You do get stereo volume, the ability to change driving modes, and alter the ambient lighting.

But updates don’t stop there, a new plug in hybrid is available, as well as a mild hybrid. Prices have not been confirmed just yet, but we can guess it will definitely be going up.
