    In less than 55 days, voters will head to the polls for the 2020 general election. But a number of voters will cast ballots before the Tuesday, Nov. 3, election as they will vote absentee. In early August, Terri Martens, Crawford County Auditor, said Crawford County sent out absentee request forms to all of the addresses of active registered voters in Crawford County. Martens said people are getting a lot of request forms for absentee ballots in the mail from different group, which has been confusing for the voters.     County: Molokai cases due to travel, families | News, Sports, Jobs

    Travel and family spread are behind the recent string of COVID-19 cases on Molokai, according to county officials and the state Department of Health. Seven cases have been reported in late August and early September on Molokai, which prior to August had only seen two cases throughout the pandemic. “These are different variations of people who have traveled, people who had family over and have spent time on Molokai and other issues,” Mayor Michael Victorino said during a news conference Wednesday.     State Department lifts global ‘Do Not Travel’ advisory – Boston News, Weather, Sports

    (CNN) — After more than four months, the US State Department on Thursday lifted its advisory warning US citizens against traveling abroad. The department issued the Level 4: Do Not Travel advisory — the highest level of travel advisory — on March 19, urging US citizens not to travel overseas due to the coronavirus pandemic.
