Chiarelli interviewed by Blackhawks for general manager position

Peter Chiarelli was interviewed by the Chicago Blackhawks for their general manager position, the team said Sunday.

The 57-year-old has been vice president of hockey operations of the St. Louis Blues since Sept. 22. He was GM of the Edmonton Oilers from 2015-19; under Chiarelli, they went 137-133-25, including 47-26-9 in 2016-17, when they reached the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the only time during his tenure.
