Highway to Help Heroes Charity Drive: 9 a.m. Saturday, with a 45-mile course around Northeast Florida, to end at about 10:45 a.m. at Cowford Chophouse. Multi-time local endurance racing champion Hurley Haywood joins the event, which benefits injured and fallen officers through the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Foundation and military veterans through K9s for Warriors. All registrations are filled, but watch the exotic cars in action at the start, finish or in between.

19th annual Jacksonville Grand Prix to benefit Spina Bifida: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the 103rd Street Sports Complex at 10271 103rd St. in Jacksonville. Six classes will compete in the 6-hour endurance race in equally prepared and weight ballasted karts, registration $1,850 per team. Proceeds benefit Spina Bifida of Jacksonville (spinabifidajax.org), which helps children and young adults with the birth defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don’t form properly, and their families. A team is also racing to support the Alzheimer’s Association.
