The Dallas Women Lawyers Association has named Gracen its 2023 “Rising Raggio.” The Rising Raggio Award—named after Louise Raggio—recognizes one young lawyer each year who has earned significant professional accomplishments and acted as a leader in the Dallas community. Said previous Rising Raggio Award recipient, Haleigh Jones of CWL: “Gracen embodies the spirit of the Rising Raggio Award. She is a pioneer in the legal profession who dedicates herself fully to each of her clients and to her community. She is a polished and savvy trial lawyer and trial team leader. She is a friend to many and a sincere champion of everyone in her circle. This is not the first recognition she has received for these attributes, and I know it will not be the last.”
Gracen practices complex commercial, employment, and IP litigation with an emphasis on business disputes. She has experience in a broad range of matters, representing business owners, creatives, and inventors on both sides in state and federal courts across the country. Gracen is a passionate advocate for her clients’ rights and a seasoned trial lawyer, comfortably taking cases to trial and thoughtfully developing the winning strategy at all stages of litigation.
An east Texas native, Gracen received her undergraduate degree with honors from Texas Tech University as the highest-ranking graduate in her academic college. She received her JD from the SMU Dedman School of Law and earned frequent acclaim from Best Lawyers®, Texas Super Lawyers and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, where she was recently elected to the 2023-2024 executive board. She also serves on the executive board for the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce where she enjoys collaborating with young entrepreneurs and community advocates.
